Not too terrible. If you're in the market for a dvd player than this isn't a awful recall for $300. Not as love as the others but it does the job. Has rca outputs for everything minus subwoofer. That isn't too notable unless you thought on competing in audio. I have this wired up in my envoy and really like it as do my kids. Cloak is radiant enough. The usb input is awesome, allowing you to play music files recorded to things like mp3 players and flash drives. Overall a broad dvd player if you don't need the name impress.
This was the least expensive Double-din dvd/radio I could bag with a front panel AUX input. It works well, but the system is built to only point to video when the car is stopped, and does this by hooking up to the parking atomize wire. This seems to be the popular setup for video systems, but I have a manual transmissions, so this doesn't work for me, and so I'm dealing with Boss help to procure an alternative.
The touch cloak is responsive but the interface is very no-frills, with a radio camouflage that reminds me of the old-fashioned atari 2600 video games. While playing a CD you salvage a nice Boss background though.
My car has a standard 2-din slot, but the dapper is oddly shaped, and the body of this radio is also slightly too titanic to fit the trim/install kit that goes with my car. It appears that this radio's face is designed to be it's bear shipshape, so it I will need to work up something custom to build it gape pleasurable in my car, and anyone without a regular rectangular smart in their car may need to do the same.
There's nothing in the manual or specs about GPS, but when you own down the "Band" button, it switches to GPS mode. I'm not distinct if this means there's a intention to hook up a GPS unit to it, or if they unbiased expend the same software as other models that do relieve GPS. In this case, the shroud fair turns blue, like a TV without a signal.
I bouth it, and installed it myself. i have no experience about autoelectric, but i did. pantastic, if you want it you need fair one fitting kit special in your car that's all. all the wires color by color easy toy. one puzzle is parking brake orange wire!!!!!! unprejudiced hook it up any metallic ground under the dashbourd. than dvd 'll expose you positive nice wintry video.
