First of all, I ordered the VitaMix Pro through Amazon and was surprised at how expeditiously it was delivered, though I did regular shipping. I've had the VitaMix for almost a month now and have ragged it at least once every day, and sometimes more. I admire it; it's a stout product, and using it has become a fragment of my everyday routine. Since receiving our VitaMix, my husband and I have been drinking a quart of green smoothie daily (based on the book "Green for Life") and it's fantastic how like a flash all the fruit and veggies are turned into very level-headed liquid. The taste is surprisingly suited! There are so many uses. I have also blended for recipes, made malts, fruit smoothes, etc., and have had expansive luck with all. I highly recommend this product!

I have 2 of these items already...this is my third in a third set. I really like this product.

I am uncomfortable that the product was not pulled instead of a peek given by the manufacturer of a safety hazard.

Implied Warranty of Merchantability

Implied warranties reach in two general types: merchantability and fitness. An implied warranty of merchantability is an unwritten and unspoken guarantee to the buyer that goods purchased conform to ordinary standards of care and that they are of the same average grade, quality, and value as similar goods sold under similar circumstances. In other words, merchantable goods are goods fit for the ordinary purposes for which they are to be traditional.

I have not received this order and now may return unopened. I need this product, and now will have to rep something to hold this urgent need. Very heart-broken! Vita-Mix 1363 CIA Professional Countertop Blender with 2+ HP Motor, Platinum

i read a bunch of reviews on different models before i ultimately chose the 1390t. when it came down to the wire it was a hard choice between the 765t and the 1390t. The main incompatibility I would like to point out is the charger. the 765t uses a mount charger, while the 1390t uses a micro usb fed directly into the unit. some users like the fact they dont have to unhook the charger when dismounting the unit(765t) . like i said personal preference. oh and also no mp3 playback, fm tuner or multipoint point destination. 765t has all those.

real world test of features

user interface: so easy a caveman can do it. garmin definitely has the other brands beat when it comes to UI. i liked the feature site for heed in the tomtom 940t, but the UI impartial looks so feeble. They need a major rehaul of that. the 1390t always gave steady directions without causing confusion. there was no lagging either. being able to update the ETA to total distance is a ample plus. almost always gave me the local hasten limit. your rush turns red if you're speeding.

bluetooth: i was actually rather impressed with the bluetooth. it was easy to sync with my blackberry 8800(dinosaur phone i know) . i had to swear a shrimp louder than normal conversation. this is mostly because you're talking to the unit from 1.5 feet away. if the mic was more sensitive it would remove up more background noise. call quality was pleasurable on the other demolish. my friend couldn't hear the road in the background.

lane assist: i like the fact that it shows you all available lanes that you can win. it almost always did lane help where available. junction conception with photo realistic pictures never showed. i drove on the broad central, LIE, northern spot, southern position, belt parkway, execrable island. these are all major highways in the long island queens place. maybe it only does interstate highways. who knows. i was really disappointed when i didnt examine the 3d simulation at all.

traffic alert: the ads are unobtrusive and don't exhibit up while you're driving. traffic reporting was ravishing just when it did have reception. i never tried any alternate traffic routes. the traffic way shows where the traffic begins and ends and your station.

new thinnest model of all time: don't invent this the deciding factor for you. although the unit is 25% thinner than most other garmins, it's really not a sizable deal. the other garmins (200 and 700 series) were thin to commence with.

POI: for some reason when i looked for a mcdonalds or bk it would present everything but the closest station. i only stale POIs 3-4 times.

random: i don't know why other people were complaining about speaker volume. i set aside it on a 100% thinking that it was going have stale speakers. i yell you, def not the case. it was practically yelling at me at 100%.

cons: no fm tuner, no multipoint destinations. you can have a via point though. stamp is a bit high. i paid 280 including tax for the unit. i deem $200 wouldve been a more reasonable imprint.

conclusion: if you wants all the bells and whistles go for this model or the 765t. if you objective need a simple gps regain a 200 series. theyre a lot cheaper. all in all big gps. 4.0/5.0. if you want a paunchy list of features with pics check out [...]. theyre affiliated with amazon, so acquire that for what you will.

***edit** 2 months later: 3/5 instead of 4/5 for ratings.

1) I expend this blueprint on the road every day now. I've driven all over queens, manhattan, and Long Island. One thing I found incredibly annoying is how it kept taking me off a highway only to remerge with it 2 exits later. It certainly was not the faster route to be following the gps' advice in these instances.

2) Another major gripe I had was the constant recalculation. I would follow its directions and it would say recalculating. When making significant turns that are end by, this can obtain really annoying. I don't know if this is a plight with my model or gpses in general or unbiased garmin, but something needs to be fixed.

3) The suction keeps falling off the window. It may be because of the chilly temperature. It recently dropped to the 40deg F. My friend uses a magellan (stale non-widescreen 2-d version) on the same vehicle and her mount stays.

4) One thing I have to admit I absolutely esteem is lane wait on. You really savor it when switching to different highways. It definitely is all it's cracked out to be. However, The 3-D heed simulation(lane guidance) is impartial a marketing gimmick(at least I reflect so) . Not worth paying the extra $$$. Lane back is more practical and worthwhile.

I know this edit may have confused customers on future purchases, but READ OTHER REVIEWS to peer if the problems I've had are celebrated in all devices or impartial this one.

I have traditional this 1390t for 2 weeks, titanic suction cup mount, clean thin, bluetooth took 2 min. to residence up, all an all aok, except the speaker sucks. This is whathappens when you accomplish something so shrimp and compact, something has to give. and on this product its the speaker. precise tinny sound. its loud enough objective dependable tinny. if I lower the volume then I cant here it.

I have bought, owned, and aged 7 different Garmin units of various sizes including the 330 series that kind of evolved into the Nuvi, Rino, and others. I wanted to try out the unique City Xplorer feature in this 1390T -> and the summary is City Xplorer Impartial DOES NOT WORK! First of all you must lift a $10 extra package per city, aesthetic. But when I enter a route it objective spins the hour glass saying "Route Options" forever. I waited 15 minutes, then unprejudiced shut the unit off. The newest iPhone (or iPod Touch with Wi-Fi) Google Pedestrian Maps completely works for approximately the same amount of money and a unit that is half the thickness, better touch hide, and this portion of junk simply does not work. I can't accept any route further than 5 blocks to "attain calculating route", and the 5 blocks is where it objective says "drag north 5 blocks". Shame on you Garmin! You veteran to manufacture splendid products, what happened, all the lustrous quality engineers left?

The GPS unit itself is Ok, but the speaker is poor (as other people mention) . It is a step down from previous Nuvi's I've played with, it "cracks" and sounds abominable at over 50 percent volume, which you need to hear it over road noise.

On the up side, the "Nav Traffic" is heavenly genuine! It works as advertised, is easy to consume, and this unit's external "bulge antenna inside the power cord thingy" is smaller than previous Nuvi's I've played with. No extra hidden fees and comes with lifetime Nav traffic.

This is not really a compelling upgrade from the Nuvi 265T, establish your money and obtain the 265T, or do what I'm going to do -> commence looking at other brands and praying Apple releases a Garmin killer iPod Touch with built in GPS.

This bosch multi-x consume tool is exactly that. I do remodeling/ finishing/framing and light cabinet building on situation and install. This tool has been passe mighty more than I had originally belief. I've obsolete it for drywall cutting(it makes very nice straight cuts with relatively shrimp dust flying everywhere) . I've musty it for flush cutting, it will chop through a 2x4 if needed. It works tremendous where it's to hard or awkward to exercise a sawzall. The detail sanding pad works enormous and is very nice for tight spaces or limited areas. I wish there was a vaccum attachment for this though...?

Also the blades are very nice and are quite durable. I'm anxious to recognize bosch release their absorb blades/attachments soon. (A come by unprejudiced said that they should be released next week. Dec 8th? ) Also he said they would be priced from 10-40% LESS then the compareable Fein attachments!! Thats about time.

Another thing. I tried to exhaust the unusual Dremel's sandpaper on the bosch, but the Dremel's sandpaper are too minute. They don't work well at all. I mediate the Dremel's other attachments will work sparkling though.

I judge i would actually give this a 4.5 star if i could because there are a few shortcomings.

  1. The battery life is short. maybe 5-10 minutes depending on how hard you're pushing this tool and how high the variable bustle is. Also when maxed out, this tool does form a obedient amount of noise and has some vibration. I've frail it often dialed about halfway up. Its quieter and less agressive but usually plenty of power. Also, a bosch Come By told me that the 12 volt max batteries are exactly the same as their 10.8 volt. I impartial picked up the 10.8 volt impact driver because i needed more batteries to sustain this tool running. They are interchangeable and seem to work perfectly the same. I assume that the battery option and freedom of cords far outweigh the downside of short battery life. (As long as you have more than 2 batteries!!!)

  2. My multi-x has a hard to turn off switch. It may fair be mine, because in the store the floor model was impartial comely.. But its bothersome.

( I bought mine in a store. )

To summerize this, I am very overjoyed with my steal and can't have how i did obvious things before having this handy tool. If you're serious about being efficient on the job, and are looking for a original approved tool, you can't go base here.

I took a long time in the store to choose between the Fein and the Bosch. Ultimately, the cheapskate in me won. The significantly lower heed of the Bosch and its blades and the feel of the tool in my hand were the deciding factors. The tool feels nimble and can easily be held in one hand.

Bosch has far less choice in blades and attachments than Fein, however, it comes with an adapter so you can employ any other manufacturer's attachments. Out of the box it works with the Dremel blades.

For my project I had to sever the bottom of a partially encased 4 x 4 post that had been eaten by ants. The wood is redwood. It took multiple cuts to do this, but the Bosch made it through. Before completion, I exhausted the first battery (5 minutes) and set aside it in the charger. The battery had become so hot from the cutting that it wouldn't charge. It needed to frigid down first. That means that you cannot reuse it within the advertised 30 minutes. I plugged in the second battery and resumed cutting. After 10 seconds the battery popped out and kept popping out. The vibration of the tool had broken the tabs on the battery that absorb it in set. By holding the battery with one hand I could accomplish the cutting of one post. It did the trick, but not as as serene as I had hoped.

I packed it all up and returned it. I've ordered the Fein and am waiting for it now. Too terrible, because on paper the Bosch has a lot going for it. Probably huge for minute jobs or sites with no electricity. I believe the battery is far too cramped and too uncouth in power for this tool. Even discounting the broken battery - that may be incidental - I can only give it two stars because of the short battery life and long wait for the recharge.

Update:

I received the Fein corded version FMM 250Q today and frail it on the second post. Well, what a incompatibility. The Fein is powerful more remarkable, mild and vibrates far less. Cutting out 12 inches off the sill and through the 4 x4 post was very easy. With the Bosch it felt like a struggle, with the Fein it was fun. Legal of the story: You salvage what you pay for.

I purchased this tool to perform the most difficult cuts while laying out a hardwood floor. It does the job nicely and the sign $199.00 is exquisite comparing it to the Fein. However, the battery is consumed in less than 5 minutes. I'm sure not to pay $400.00 + for the Fein tool, but I'll have to return this tool due to the battery content. It is a vast tool that does what it says, but Bosch needs to determine this major flaw with the battery. Less than 5 minutes of exhaust per battery makes this tool unusable.

First off, the cons, since they're most important

-XD Relate Card.

This is the biggest thing that irks me, since XD is a dying sign and Olympus refuses to give it up. However, since working with it, i've found nothing really awful about xd, only that it's like sd but impartial a slight bit bigger, so don't difficulty about this.

-Doesn't approach in orange.

Oh well, I contemplate i'll live with silver (which is very nice by the arrangement)

-Has an uncommon "favorites mode" i probably won't use*

*see below for disclaimer

-Panorama only works in P mode

Who cares, i buy all my pictures in that mode anyway (But it took me a while to learn that)

-Low battery

For some unfamiliar reason, i pick up a vulgar battery signal even when i know i've got a couple of hours left. No immense deal, i carry an extra battery with me all the time.

Uhhh, i truthfully can't assume of anything else

Pros:

-Rugged

This camera is a beast. I don't contemplate you can wreck it. i saw C-net freeze two of these things in a block of ice and when i was at National Camera Exchange, they literally swept it off the counter and let it shatter to the floor. It also feels really sturdy in your hands

-Waterproof

What can i say, built in waterproof. Does that mean i don't have to concern about the rain or snow? Yes. Yes it does.

-Compact

For all it's ruggedness, this camera is diminutive. Thin, with a lens you don't have to exertion about protruding.

-Easy to use

Comparing it to some Cannon brands at a store, this camera was Contrivance easier to exhaust and was a lot faster in selecting modes, types of shots, ect.

-Panorama

Has an in camera panorama that is amazingly easy to figure out. First time i tried it, i got exactly the type of shot i wanted, no learning curve. Stitches three pictures together in camera. Perfect for those spectacle nature shots and whatever else you need to seize. (note: Panorama only works with an xd card, and not compatible with the micro sd to xd converter that you win in the box)

-LED lamp

Desirable colorful white LED on the front for those really shaded shots. You can also turn it on when the camera isn't on, really useful if you need it in a cinch.

-Surprising Video

Can steal video in 30fps, which came out really friendly. Option of 15fps as well.

-Quick shot view

has a button to press while in camera mode to fast conception shots. When finished, press shutter half device and it zips encourage to camera mode.

-Very, VERY fast

Even when it wasn't pre-focused, the shot time was in under a second. When pre-focused, the urge really was instantaneous. (as in feeling like an SLR urge)

-8mp

Great image quality. Outshot cannon models in outdoor shots bar none. Indoor, we found cannon did it a cramped better, but that was digitally zoomed in all the procedure, comparing it side by side with some hesitation. ergo, it's so diminutive, who cares, and even then the quality was detached extraordinary. But if you're that passionate about perfect pictures, you need an SLR.

-3x zoom

Not kidding, a 3x OPTICAL zoom with a lens that doesn't protrude from the camera. Since it's 8mp, i don't judge i'll employ the zoom, but wow, it really does work.

-Fast startup

With no external lens to push out, startup time is blazingly quickly.

-Favorites

If you residence a narrate in your favorites, it can never be erased from the camera (unless removed from favorites) even when formatting internal memory as well. Plus, you can plot one of these pictures to your menu background, which is a nice touch.

What else can i say, this camera really took me by surprise. It has everything i could want in a camera, plus it's unbelievable durability. Vast pick, suggest getting one of the packs that Amazon offers if you want a really profitable ticket. If you want to behold it, compare it, gain it, test it, whatever, i suggest heading over to National Camera Exchange. They should have it, and they really know they're stuff.

So i purchased this camera to rob with me on my sprint to cancun where im planning on doing some snorkeling, although i composed have not taken the camera on the perambulate i have already old it and know what its sterling of. The camera has the BEST image stabalizer and anti-blurr system i have ever seen, my brother took the camera to a nascar rush and took a describe of a car going over 175mph good infront of him and there was no blurr. It has a mountainous macro setting to select halt up pictures, i took a recount of a quarter on my desk from about 1 1/2 inches away and it looked wonderful, same with a characterize of a flower (the built in LED bulb for macro shots helps a lot!) . The VGA with 30fps only takes 10 seconds of video which sucks, but it u do VGA with 15fps (frames per second) you can do up to 30 minutes, and i could not bid a dissimilarity between the two when i uploaded two similar videos i shot to test it. The camera takes mountainous pictures, and the 20+ shot modes serve out sooo distinguished. (candle lit mode for that special night, sunset mode, fireworks mode, underwater wide and 2 other underwater modes, night mode, portait, everything u can reflect of.) I tested it under water at my local pool and it works mountainous, very heavenly underwater pictures, the lens has a metal lens cloak that closes when u turn off the camera and its very durable (ex. when my dog grabbed it from my hand and ran off with it) nothing but a few minor scratches. sorry for the long review but i wish i had a long one when i bought it, would have helped me earn a decision great faster. Camera only goes 10ft so the underwater case is a must if you are going scubadiving, i will at the demolish of march and ill update the review to let u know how that is. Hope this helps, all in all, this is a stout camera!

I was looking for an 'unbreakable' camera for my hopelessly clumsy 10 year feeble who begged me for one as a birthday gift. Considering that my dad trusted me with an SLR when I was 10, I decided to give her a chance too - but with precaution. I've read many reviews that the represent quality of the Olympus 850 SW was not so huge - and that's upright if you're so venerable to Canon and Nikon (we have both in point and shoot and dSLR) .

However, the greatest features of this camera are it's capability to retract shots under water and it's being shockproof (6-ft topple) . Taking shots in rain, snow, or other wet conditions - as well as wild conditions - is worry-free. If the relate quality is not as principal as HAVING pictures on those occasions, then using this camera is a no brainer. The 24-scene modes, framing, labeling, shadow fix, etc. are honest bonuses in my view - though my daughter loves experimenting with them. It does not offer considerable in the procedure of manual control, but I guess that's the point of a point-and-shoot.

She's taken it swimming many times now and it always amazes me to examine our absorb smiling faces under water! Maybe the pictures are less luminous than I would have hoped - but for that, I would have to capture an underwater case for my Nikon D80 - and exercise twice the cost of my unique camera So until I'm an avid underwater photographer, I can choose for my daughter's Olympus 850 SW.

I must add though, that the battery life is quite mediocre. It must be charged after only less than a hundred shots in VGA mode. Opt to procure a second battery.

I've worn a few other projectors, but this is first one I've owned. I selected it for consume in many different venues for substantial and microscopic groups. I made my best guess based on the reviews, zoom, brightness, clarity, ease of consume, weight, size, and noise. I also liked the long life and lower replacement cost of the lamp. I've been quite jubilant with the D825MX performance regarding all my criteria except zoom, which is minimal. The zoom is so minimal in fact that it functions more like a minor adjustment similar to keystone (which works well) . If I had it to do all over again I would witness the zoom numbers carefully and see for something that provides more meaningful options for locating the projector. As it is, for a 5' high image, there is only a 2 foot contrast in distance from the cover (from 12 feet to 14) . I don't blame the product which performs as advertised, unprejudiced the opinion the implications of every aspect of the specifications before retract. I may yet return it for one with better distance options.

This is my first automobile GPS, and I did a lot of research before settling on the Garmin 780. I live in the Washington DC Metro location, so all of the extra features work here. Upon its arrival, I downloaded and installed the latest Garmin WebUpdater v.2.41 and then updated my 780 from software version 2.50 to 2.90. I also updated the Bluetooth and other firmware, along with the languages that I exercise. This all worked flawlessly in a Windows XP virtual machine on a Linux host. FWIW, the 780 will charge off of the supplied USB cable.

The 780 acquired the notable satellites in impartial a few minutes when first activated, and does so in less than a microscopic for subsequent activations. I found the cover brightness to be magnificent for both day and night. I'm using the 780 with the Garmin Portable Friction Mount. Smashing windows and stealing GPS devices is the sport of choice in the DC Metro region, so I wanted no evidence of a GPS extant when I left the car. The friction mount works perfectly on my Honda Accord dashboard and stores easily in the center console, leaving no price of a GPS gradual. Very icy. The 780 easily fits in a shirt pocket, so it's not valuable to leave it in the car.

I tested the 780 immediately by driving during hurry hour to a status across the river in a tangle of park roads off of the beaten track, then returning at night. The Garmin had no danger creating a very snappily route to the destination that bypassed most of the heavy traffic during bustle hour. On my return, I bypassed a turn on its preferred routing. It recalculated a fresh route in less than a second which was the true fair reply. The unique route wasn't a recapture of the modern route, which wasn't possible from that area, but an entirely unique route. The routes it picked were appropriate for the times of day traveled, which can be a daunting task here if you don't know which roads go which direction during the appropriate speed hour. DC is a notoriously difficult site to navigate, but so far the Garmin seems up to the challenge.

I found the volume of the internal speaker to be more than adequate even with the radio, air conditioning, and windshield wipers going. Content notifications led upcoming turns by an adequate amount, and the convey prompts always helped me pick up into the true lanes in plenty of time for upcoming turns. During a particularly tricky allotment where several major roads converge on a bridge, then diverge on the other side, the Garmin gave almost constant appropriate guidance to ensure that I took the moral forks and turns. I was quite impressed.

The Bluetooth paired mercurial with my Motorola Razr V3. It even provided its PIN code at the appropriate time. The phone functions work tall and it's easy to hear over the 780 speaker. The party on the other side of the phone said that I sounded like I was in a tunnel, which is typical for remote devices for autos. I have another BT hands-free draw and it garnered the same comments. The Garmin's on-screen phone cues produce hands-free easy.

Activation of the MSN Jabber service was simple over the Procure. On initial activation of your free 3 month trial, they offer a 6-month extension for $9.95 which gets you to 9 months of service total for less than $10--a very superb deal. MSN Reveal information took a while to load the initial information, but then it said that in the Fleet Commence pamphlet. Once loaded, the traffic, weather, and news worked sizable. Gas prices were unhurried by several days, which is an eternity these days. My approved (and cheapest) area wasn't listed.

Overall, I'm very tickled with the 780. I'll be working it out heavily in the coming weeks, including on a road stride to another city with MSN Express service. I can't contain that I waited this long to steal the tumble to a GPS contrivance for my car. Even though I'm a master with maps, the Garmin suggested a clever routing that I did not previously survey on my acquire. From what I've seen so far, the 780 will be a highly valued addition to my road warrior kit bag. I can recommend the 780 without reservation.

I purchased a Sony NAVU-83T, a Garmin 680, and a Garmin 780 to compare their features and routing capability. I kept the 780 and returned the others, but it was a very difficult decision.

The Sony unit [...] at Costco, and has a 4.8" conceal (1/2" larger!) . It has one of the best user interfaces on the market, primarily due to a few things: 1) you can always catch encourage to the blueprint by pressing one button, regardless of where you are, 2) you can always pick up to the main menu by pressing one button, regardless of where you are in the menus, 3) it has a split camouflage function that gives you lane guidance visually so that you know which lane to accumulate into, well before the turn, 4) it has shortcuts, for instance to GO HOME you do a V shape on the cover and it takes you home...no menu navigation required!

On the down side, the Sony took FOREVER to calculate or re-calculate routes, and in many cases I missed the newly recalculated turn because it took too long to figure it out. It also took longer routes than the Garmin, would avoid commonly weak roads for no apparent reason, and would not select me down roads that were shown on the draw and clearly the shortest route. Last of all, the Sony took forever to accept a satellite fix once turned on. And the Sony mount was soooo very icy and useful! For $249 you got the frosty mount and a nice carrying case. I did not gather a chance to exercise the TMC traffic service.

The Garmin 680 ($349 at Costco) was a beautiful plan, with very quick and upright routing. It found points of interest quick and accurately (the Sony often could not regain them) . However, I really liked the thin size of the 780 and the fact that the antennae was built in, so I kept the 780 in spite of the extra cost.

What do I like about the 780 (and the 680) :

1. The MSN Dispute is VERY handy and I exercise it every day for weather, news, fuel costs, and movie listings.

2. Very speedily route calculations.

3. I have never looked for a POI that was not display.

4. The tour routes that you can download (for about $12 each) are chilly. You can win car tours of a few hours that are laid out for you, telling you where to visit along the route.

5. The ability to sort points along a route is handy. If you have 10 places to go in one day, enter them all in and it puts them in the most efficient order.

6. It can get rest areas on interstates. The Sony could NOT do this, which is annoying when you are trying to figure out if you should cessation at a gas position or wait for a rest residence when you have three kids in the car on long hasten.

What would I change on the 780? Many things, and most of them would cost Garmin no money to implement. These are simple fixes that they should believe!

Bad Points of the Garmin 780:

1. If I go into the menu system, I can go 7 or 8 layers deep to earn to what I want to do. To win benefit to the intention, I have to sustain pushing the "Succor" button, up to 8 times in a row, to fetch befriend to the plot. Tiresome!

2. If I go into a menu item and choose I'm done, but don't want to push "Abet" over and over, the unit stays on the menu or submenu cover forever.

3. It would seem that on a unit this expensive it could give you lane guidance. The Sony does. The Tom Tom does. Why can't this unit, at almost double the cost?

4. When you turn off the car the unit asks if it should finish on or turn off. If you don't acknowledge, it turns off in 30 seconds. For people who are making deliveries, or running errands, this is a precise afflict. It would be nice to allow you to configure this once to residence how long it should wait before turning the unit off (options like 1 dinky, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, for instance) . This would allow you to bustle into Kinkos and support out again without having to wait for the unit to turn attend on, regain a satellite bearing, and then finally derive to its draw to converse you where to go next. Simple software change!

5. It would be nice to have the unit commence up on the same cloak where you left off. If you were on the device veil, then it should return to the arrangement hide. If on the weather hide, then return to the weather. I like to withhold it on the weather, but I have to hit about 6 different buttons every time I turn the unit on to rep to the weather! Simple software change!

6. Most GPS units even at half this cost allow you to Inspect your hurry, direction, and target's relative direction while on the main device camouflage. This unit requires you to go to a dashboard mask to indicate you this information....so you have to resolve the intention or the dashboard to thought. Since some people may not like this feature, it could be configurable. Simple software change!

7. I can't seem to figure out how to explain the satellite signals/connectivity. ALL units have this, even though it is unbiased for fun.

8. For $500 the Garmin should include a carry case for the unit. They sell it slight size, light weight, and its "ability to know where you were when you acquire it out of the cradle, to abet you derive your car later", and yet don't give you contrivance to carry it around safely. Objective about every unit on the market, starting at the $149 units, include a case!

9. The 780 does NOT include an owners manual. You have to go online to plan the manual, at garmin.com. Garmin may be surprised to know that not everyone has the internet (50% of homes don't) . Although not perfect, the Sony included a fairly comprehensive launch up guide and a CD based owners manual.

10. The exhibit looks like a cartoon movie, and that causes a lack of detail. The Sony displayed a very concise intention where you could actually identify road splits, acceleration lanes, etc.

11. There is no ability to explain POIs on the procedure. You can route to one, but you can't unprejudiced expose them. The Sony allowed you to take which POIs to indicate, and it actually showed you petite BP, Shell, Cracker Barrel, etc. logos on the contrivance so that you could know well ahead of time which POIs were approach you.

12. Many units negate you how far to your next turn AND the direction you will be turning in. The Garmin tells you how far to the next turn, but it does not hiss you which device to turn until you find within about 2/10 of a mile. So on most multi-lane roads I derive myself staying in the middle lane as I accumulate discontinuance so that I can go either scheme. It should warn you which plan you will be turning at least a few miles in approach! As soon as you collect onto any road the Sony tells you that your next turn is "LEFT 123 MILES", and it is always displayed on the main diagram. Handy. Simple software change!

I like the unit, but I only give it 3 stars because of its designate, its lack of accepted sense features, and lack of "in the box" serve. It's strong points are expeditiously, factual routing and MSN teach.

I did a lot of research before I changed from my aged Garmin c340. I reflect I made an trustworthy choice, this GPS has everything and more. I was fresh to traffic so I first tried the TomTom 920T which I didn't like because of how innacurate the maps were so then I turned to Garmin and I was blissful again, with the addition of news, stocks and events for the MSN notify 2 version is tremendous. I read the news once in a while is impartial a dull summary of what is happening not mighty with no pictures or anything but hey at least it gives you something else on the GPS to do. I get the mp3 functionality stout the sound is loud enough unbiased don't keep it all the arrangement to 100% volume because you'll hear static. The FM transmitter is one of the best I found on a GPS and the recount feature is gargantuan I even set aside it in my room as an LCD cloak for pictures hehehe. This GPS gives you all the directions you need magnificent just, MSN traffic needs to improve on this, its usually delayed most of the time it tells me traffic is there but then I get no traffic why? I don't know but I can say that is probably 80% moral on other traffic updates. I really like this product and I am more than cheerful with this item, it is now a lot cheaper than what I bought it for which was $700, so do yourself a favor if you want an factual, nice looking, expeditiously GPS signal, colossal feature GPS gather this one, I recommend it.

The Pepper Pad is primarily marketed as a consumer plot with a microscopic number of included applications that conceal the basics. It is easy to exercise, but most buyers will already have a larger computer. It integrates best with a Windows machine, but those with Macs or Linux should be OK too. Its only Internet option is wireless, so you need a wireless router (another indication that you probably already have other computers) . The "killer application" for this kind of machine is the web browser, which here is Firefox (but without extensions) . It works very well, and the 800x480 camouflage is grand enough so that sideways scrolling isn't usually required.

It is a bit larger than I expected: 2 inches longer and about as high as a typical hardback book placed on its side. It works very well in a living room, e.g. on the arm of an armchair.

The Pepper Pad is running Linux under the hood, and this is my 2nd Linux-based Internet Tablet. I also have a Nokia 770, which has a similar cloak resolution but is considerable smaller (PDA size) . The spacious advantage of the Pepper Pad is that its AMD Geode LX800 processor is Intel compatible, so many Linux binaries (Fedora rpms) will speed "as is". The built in keyboard and disk drive are also large pluses. However, the Linux developer community for the Pepper Pad is smaller, and the Nokia allows for better integration of 3rd party applications. I fetch I primarily utilize the Nokia to read e-books, and the Pepper Pad for casual web browsing. The Nokia can't read encrypted e-books though, and the Pepper Pad can (Mobipocket only) . For those who examine to recede in the US with the Pepper Pad, I have found that free WiFi access is usually available in hotels but often not in airports.

Overall, I like the Pepper Pad and would particularly recommend it to anyone who is familiar with Linux.

I had been looking for the past year for *exactly* this station of features in a handheld computer, but always came up short. This good itsy-bitsy powerhouse has everything. Wifi g, bluetooth 2.0, very usable thumb QWERTY keyboard, 20gig HD...and all this in a terrific construct factor. Nice size, feels mountainous in the hand, it's only two lbs. And it is affordable, no less.

There are several apps I would like to peek (sketch/digital ink...pleasePLEASE, Office-type suite, VOIP, etc.), but I am guessing these will be developed before long.

Biggest surprise was how noteworthy I relish the pre-installed ebook reader. I downloaded Bob Woodward's unique book, which worked like a charm, and have been enjoying reading it at home and, propped on its stand, in coffee shops all over Manhattan. Btw, inquire to be interrupted when you do as it is quite the head turner. Almost as advantageous as walking your dog for meeting novel people here in NYC.

No surprise was how remarkable I be pleased playing with it on the couch, in bed, sitting on the terrace, etc. It is so powerful nicer than even my three pound, 8 x 11" Tablet PC. Two lbs is soooo worthy nicer than three. And the scroll wheel is amazing, too. And, oh, I almost forgot, the remote controller is honorable. You can dwelling up any combination of video and audio equipment (TV, dvd players, Tivo) in about two minutes and, snap, it fair works. And with no hurry at all. Touch the pen to the conceal and your Tivo chirps relieve instantly.

FYI, I met several of the top people from the Company at the original Digital Life Conference. Amazing folks who seem to treasure what they do. And they were *more* than ample. Jon M must have spent cessation to an hour talking with my boyfriend and me. All in all, astronomical anxiety, guys!

I am not surprised at all that it is backordered.

Most of the reviews already have captured the tremendous things this draw offers - so I wont explain them here. There are a few short minuses (strictly on the power user level) .

- only 802.11 wireless (no gprs cell phone data earn capability)

(this is MINOR when one considers public/free 802.11 availability)

- no genuine "file" manager- each app manages specific files

What you can do in about 3 minutes out of the box:

- stream media from SlimServer for home mp3 library

- browse pictures and video from any pick up computer with media connect

- browse homw network resources

- stream internet radio,

email and web

Many UMPC sites and reviews will claim that the pepperpad 3 (ppd3) lacks functionality. This is not really relevant when you mediate the enormous psh for web based apps (word processing, spreadsheet etc) . pepper computer & hanbit impartial released 3.2 software tha5 includes document app as well. Everything that needs to be done fast, without long boot-up sequences can be done with ppd3.

The make factor is IDEAL. when considering the nokia N800 or Qoo, deem this: the 7 in hide of the pepperpad3 is enormous- really makes a inequity in web browsing and web apps.

Split thumb pad keyboard is not as unusual as it may discover in pictures. After about a week, I've typed this review on my ppd3 in under 4 minutes.

The launch source community unhurried pepperpad3 will certainly ensure that this blueprint has longevity and applicabilty in the marketplace for quite some time. The embedded linux at the core will appeal to the power users out there (yes, there is an xterm and cmd line available)

Far more qualified and user superior than the nokia N8000

I originally purchased the Milwaukee to choose the crankshaft pulley hasten on my Honda, but couldn't win it off the first time. The garage torqued it design too mighty the last time I had the timing belt changed so I paid a local garage mech ten dollars to shatter it free. As it turns out, even the garage air impact wrench had a exiguous peril and that guy could philosophize 600 ft-lb or torque. He retorqued it enough to accumulate home and I was able to do everything else objective attractive.

Everything else went well and the Milwuakee had no wretchedness removing lug nuts and other nuts/bolts. How considerable torque applied depends on how hard you push on the tool. The lowest torque is 100 ft-lb and I guessed when torquing the crankshaft spin to 130 ft-lb. That and a minute Medium grade Loktite should preserve things nice and tight until the next time.

There are similar models, but there are several things I like about this impact wrench above the others. The first mammoth thing I liked is the variable hurry which is nice when you objective want to snug-up a nut or saunter. I also like it over the rocker switch since it is similar to working a drill. The second immense thing I liked about the wrench is the switch for switching between forward and reverse. Again, this is a directional switch similar to a drill. The last thing I liked about the kit is that it comes with a case and a few sockets. This may be minor, but being that I'm not using the tool all of the time, it's nice to have it nicely packed away and ready to grab when needed. The sockets only add to the value since these can secure expensive. With the fresh $25 discount for purchases over $199, it only makes sense to exercise a shrimp more and glean a lot more.

I'll be using it again for mounting a tow hitch and other general automotive work. Well worth buying.

Wanted to assume impact gun for years. Finally decided to purchase one. To date tool has paid for itself in reduced labor costs. Ample pricing and very reasonable shipping rates. Could not be happier.

You can Assume Cheap tool's, and I Have. But Never Got Any Exhaust Out Of Them. So I Started Buying Tool's That Cost A Small More, And started Getting some Utilize Out Of Them. Like Milwakee, It Is a High Quality Tool. You Cannot Go Unfavorable With This Label. It May Cost more. But You Do Not Have To Replace It For Y-E-A-R-S. And It Work's Broad Every Time You Grasp It Up To Exhaust. Which I rob Care Of My Tool's Anyway. About Like i Care For My First Born. and That's The Truth. Polish And Wipe Off Every Time I Expend. But That's The Life Of a Tool. But Milwakee Build's A Sizable Tool That Will Last You for Year's To Advance, with Out ever Wondering If it Will Work The Next Time You Engage It Up. They Are Tough. I've Dropped Them, and Hard. Utilize Them Hard. And Continuos For Hard day's Work. Sometime's Not Putting Them Down. But They Never Let Me Down. So instead Of Spending Your Hard Earned Money On Cheap Tool's, and Having To Replace Every Runt Bit. Unprejudiced Grasp A Milwakee And You May Have It a Lifetime.

Thank's for Reading, God Bless

I've had this printer for 4 months now and I really like it. It does everything that I need and it's easy to consume.

This most vital factor for me was the ability to fragment it on the network. Most HP all-in-one printer's don't allow you to fragment it on the network. Xerox states that they don't "abet" network sharing, but that give detailed instructions on how to do it (They impartial don't want people to call tech serve for it) .

It turns out that sharing a workcentre 385 is fair like any other printer (very easy) . Not so for HP's all-in-one printers. Their special driver that doesn't have sharing capabilities.

I fully recommend this printer.

Great. I fancy mine. Design definite you have enough status for it. (It is not a "bookshelf printer") It works sizable. If you have questions, I would be contented to serve you. My e-mail is Jobin@WheelerJobin.com.

The fax picks up the line while you're talking on the phone randomly. I did consume the fax line periodically for calls but can't anymore because of this 'feature'.

AND THE WORST Share!

XEROX Unexcited HASN'T RELEASED WINDOWS 2000 DRIVERS MONTHS AFTER IT WAS AVAILALBE!
